Rules and REQUIREMENTS for Boarding at Poshpaws 


In our commitment to delivering optimal service to you and your pet, we adhere to essential rules to guarantee the safety, happiness, and well-being of all animals at PoshPaws. Our Canine Friends:

  1. Must be current on the following vaccines:

    • DA2PP, DHPP, or DAPP (every 1 to 3 years unless you have a current Titers)

    • Rabies Vaccines (Every 1 to 3 years unless you have a current Titers)

    • Negative fecal Ova and Parasite with Giardia ELISA Test

    • Bordetella Vaccine (every 3-6 months)

    • Leptospira (Leptospirosis) Vaccine (recommended)

    • H3N2/H3N8 (canine influenza) Vaccines (highly recommended)

  2. All dogs must be spayed or neutered.

  3. Reservation Requirements

    Intake forms and current vaccine records must be submitted and received before your pet’s stay can be confirmed.

    • A 50% deposit is required to secure your reservation. The remaining balance is due in full at pick-up (unless otherwise required for holiday/peak reservations).

  4. Holiday & Peak Date Policy

    Because holiday/peak dates fill quickly and are held exclusively for your pet:

    • Holiday/peak reservations require a 50% deposit to secure the dates.

    • Drop-off details must be confirmed 24–48 hours in advance.

    • Cancellations within 7 days of the start date, and no-shows, are charged the full reservation total (the full cost of the reserved stay), as these dates cannot typically be rebooked on short notice.

  5. No-Show / No-Contact

    If a pet does not arrive as scheduled and we have not received communication by the end of the confirmed drop-off window, the booking will be treated as a last-minute cancellation/no-show and the full reservation total is due.

  6. Check-In / Check-Out & Drop-Off / Pick-Up Times:

    Boarding

    Check-In (Drop-Off): 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM

    Check-Out (Pick-Up): 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM

    Convenience Fees

    • Check-ins before 10:00 AM: $25 convenience fee

    • Check-ins after 3:00 PM: $25 convenience fee

    Late Check-Out Fees

    • Check-outs after 11:00 AM: $65 full Doggy Daycare fee

    • If not checked out by 6:00 PM (latest): $85 additional boarding day fee

    Doggy Daycare

    Drop-Off Times: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM

    Pick-Up Times: 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM

    Convenience Fees

    • Drop-offs before 9:00 AM: $25 convenience fee

    • Pick-ups after 5:00 PM: $25 convenience

  7. For the safety and well-being of your pet, all medications must be meticulously labeled and organized by day and time of administration. Additionally, ensure that administration directions are clearly expressed. This meticulous sorting helps us provide the necessary care and guarantees that your pet receives the right medication at the right time.

  8. Owners are required to supply their pets with home-provided food, pre-packaged and ready to feed for the entire duration of their stay. This practice aims to prevent any disruptions to your dog's stomach caused by a sudden change in diet, ensuring a stress-free experience for your pet. We accept frozen raw food and canned options. If food is not provided, charges will apply for supplying food tailored to your pet's specific dietary requirements.

  9. Must have collars with identification and leash.

  10. Zero-Tolerance Policy

    • PoshPaws maintains a zero-tolerance policy towards any form of violent behavior exhibited by pets. If your pet demonstrates aggression or violence towards us or another animal, your dog will be promptly sent home and will not be permitted to participate in any further services. This policy applies without exceptions.

  11. Additional Care for Dogs Who Mark:

    • We charge an additional $20 per day for dogs that mark. This fee covers the cost of belly bands and pads, as well as the extra cleaning supplies, laundry, and time required to ensure a clean and comfortable environment for all pets in our care.

  12. Pet owners are held financially responsible for any property damage caused by their pets, exceeding a monetary value of $25
